A Jazz Eucharist is a worship service with service music and hymns played in a Jazz genre.

The instrumental voices of saxophone, piano, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and drums make up the Jazz Eucharist at St. Joseph. The Rev. Dr. Walker decided to offer the Jazz Mass to appeal to a younger demographic with hopes of growing the congregation. St. Joseph’s received a gift in 2024 to start the Jazz Eucharist.

This is a service that makes its foundation on our traditions and derives its energy from jazz. It is just the way you would want to end your Sunday and a perfect service to invite your friends and family to join in. Great music, great liturgy, great spirit and great goodness abound.
